Listaliciousness: Random Narration, Cinderella, and Christmas Continuation

Before I give my weekly list of links, there is something that must be said: People are not objects that can be laughed at or used without consent. Well, maybe we are, but that is not the way it should be. This does not matter if the other person is older, younger, a minority, not a minority, disabled, working for you, or different in any way. Especially pay attention to those who work in customer service. They are people, not objects.

End of rant. Here are some things (many still having to do with Christmas) for you to check out today. I hope you enjoy them.

  1. The True Story Behind Big Eyes – This movie moved me, and I want to know more about how everything happened.
  2. Video: Guy narrates random people’s lives in public – This made me laugh so hard. What a brilliant idea as long as no one gets angry.
  3. Cinderella trailer – Simply beautiful. I look forward to this film.
  4. The Weirdest Eating Patterns of Each U.S. State – Charts like this fascinate me. Is it true for your state?
  5. National Pitcher Doug Fister Buys Everybody Starbucks for Christmas – I wish that I had enough money to do this. How cool is that?
  6. Woman Who Walked 10,000 Miles in Three Years – What an amazing feat. Good for her!
  7. Video: The Rock does Christmas Karaoke in a onesie – Just for giggles. 🙂

What you say in your rant should not have to be said–but, sadly, it does need to be said. When a person objectifies other human beings, then that person feels free to commit horrible atrocities. In my opinion, regarding other people as objects is the highest form of disrespect.
