There are cons to living away from home but also pros.
Living out of state has been harder in some ways than I had guessed it would be. The snowy winters, family members being close, friends who I grew up with – all of these things are very missed.
Yet, there are many blessings about living in a new place too. Here are some of the reasons that I am grateful that I ventured out into the world.
1144. Being forced to grow up – Living close to home would have made it harder for me to actually grow up. I wouldn’t have wanted to move out of my home or get out of the house as much. Being thousands of miles away makes me do things on my own for the first time.
One week of performances down, one more to go. Only a little bit more time before finals and Florida. Everything is rushing past me. I feel like I am clinging to a palm tree during a hurricane. Hopefully, my arms will be strong enough to keep hanging on despite the wind.
This weeks links are a very interesting blend of various items. Hopefully, you will enjoy the list! Continue reading →
Yesterday was the best Valentine’s Day ever. Two of my coworkers surprised me with flowers, a teddy bear, and a card signed by people at work. Just when I feel unloved, something beautiful happens to remind me that I am not alone. I feel so blessed!
On that note, I am excited to bring you this list of links for this week. Hopefully, they will bring a smile to your face and something to ponder.
Acting for a movie shoot and working at the theater – that was pretty much my entire weekend. Although I feel guilty about not doing homework, my overall mood is pretty good. The job went well although I was extremely silly today which people enjoyed but I will probably regret later. Doing the movie was wonderful fun as well. Acting really is one of my deepest passions.
On to the links we shall go now. There are random assortment of things this week, as usual. Hopefully, you will find some of them useful rather than just strange. Several are about Harry Potter while other focus on writing, famous people, and art. Enjoy!
Today was lovely although I felt guilty about not working. Mario, Christine, Mom, and I went to Mass together before my sister left for school. Then, us remaining three went to an art fair near our house. Relaxing with family was amazing despite the looming anxiety of homework and money that is shackled to me.
Anyway, here are my links for the week. Some of the posts or web pages are a bit older, but hopefully you will still find them interesting.
