Meeting All the Characters and What I Learned: Days Three and More

Recently, I wrote about why I like to meet characters and then had a post about the ones that I met. So here is the next post about all the characters that I have met since the last post.

The Fairy Godmother

The Fairy Godmother

46. Fairy Godmother: I always wanted to meet her and stumbled across her one day. Our interaction was very rushed, but I still loved her bright smile and sweet words. She taught me that sometimes we need help to follow our dreams but we all have beauty inside  us and the ability to go farther than we ever believed. Continue reading

Afternoon Tea

One week of performances down, one more to go. Only a little bit more time before finals and Florida. Everything is rushing past me. I feel like I am clinging to a palm tree during a hurricane. Hopefully, my arms will be strong enough to keep hanging on despite the wind.

This weeks links are a very interesting blend of various items. Hopefully, you will enjoy the list!

Black and white photo of roses

My coworkers brought me roses. 🙂

Yesterday was the best Valentine’s Day ever. Two of my coworkers surprised me with flowers, a teddy bear, and a card signed by people at work. Just when I feel unloved, something beautiful happens to remind me that I am not alone. I feel so blessed!

On that note, I am excited to bring you this list of links for this week. Hopefully, they will bring a smile to your face and something to ponder.

Customer service (like that at Cahoots Cafe) is hard but can be so rewarding.

Making customers smile at work to day by offering to help them unexpectedly reminded me why I love my job. Sure, there are many struggles. However, even a waitress can help make the world a better place by impacting others one by one.

Now that I am done with finals, work is picking up a bit. However, there is still time for my weekly links. Some are a bit funny while others focus on Christmas which is just around the corner! Hopefully, you enjoy them.

Hearing from Moriah Peters on Twitter was one of the highlights of my week.

Roller coaster rides have fewer dips and rises than my past week had. However, this week is another chance to face my anxieties. Life might not ever be easy, but it is worth the fight.

Many days this past week were spent oversleeping. Thus, I did not have as much time to get caught up on the news or interesting web links. However, here are a few interesting as well as funny items that I found. Enjoy!
